Prerequisite
- Your OnePlus 3 should be rooted, and the bootloader should be unlocked to flash a custom ROM.

Steps to install the MIUI 8 on OnePlus 3
- Move the downloaded MIUI 8 custom ROM zip file to your phone’s internal memory. Put the file in the root folder so that you can find it easily during installation.
- Now turn your phone off completely and turn it back on while holding down the power button and volume up button together.
- In recovery mode, tap on Wipe and swipe to wipe the system storage.
- Come back to the main menu and tap Install and select the custom ROM zip file and install it on your device.
- (Skip this step if you don’t want to root your phone) Repeat the above step with the SuperSU zip file. It will root your phone running MIUI 8 custom ROM.
