Rolls-Royce Wraith Comes to India Market at Rs 4.6 Crore

After taking a long, 5 decade break Rolls-Royce re-entered Indian market in 2005 and since then has sold over 245 cars. Its outlets were early seen in the city of Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad but now it aims to add 2 more.

The British luxury car-maker, Rolls-Royce Motors Cars Ltd. is setting up dealerships in Gujarat’s Ahmadabad and Punjab’s Chandigarh this year to reach out to more prospective buyers. That’s no the news however, It’s rolled out new model ‘Wraith’, priced at Rs 4.60 crore, in Maharashtra certainly is.

Rolls Royce, General Manager for Emerging Markets-Asia, Herfried Hasenoehrl said,

India remains one of the most important markets for us in Asia. Wraith is drawing interest from the new customers who have not considered a Rolls-Royce before. We are more than optimistic for India.

This indicates, although rupee is tumbling, a handful of rich population has cash to spend. Having said that, it’s particularly noteworthy to mention here that current economic conditions hardly impacts the car’s sales number as it caters only to a “niche” market.

Rolls-Royce Wraith

Rolls-Royce Wraith is a two-door fastback coupe, powered by V12 engine capable of churning out 624 brake horsepower. The Wraith joins the Ghost and the Phantom to become the third and the latest from Rolls-Royce workshop.

Taking a look at it, I can say Rolls-Royce Wraith will hold key to success in the Indian market.
